InkShare Subscription
InkShare billing, pool allocation, refund limits, and chargebacks.
Last updated August 29, 2026
1. What InkShare is
InkShare is a recurring Drift & Quill subscription sold by Drift & Quill.
InkShare may provide access to eligible exclusive chapters, additional catalog access, early access, bonus material, and other benefits described at the time of subscription.
Creators do not individually sell the InkShare subscription unless a separate agreement expressly states otherwise.
2. Stories remain free of in-story advertising
Drift & Quill does not place advertisements inside story chapters.
Any advertising or promotional placements elsewhere on the Platform are separate from the story Content itself.
InkShare benefits and any Platform-wide advertising treatment will be disclosed at checkout or in the current InkShare product description.
3. Price and billing
Before subscribing, the checkout experience will disclose the applicable subscription price, billing frequency, renewal behavior, material limitations, and cancellation method.
By completing the subscription purchase, you authorize recurring charges at the disclosed price, plus applicable taxes, until you cancel.
If the price changes, the change will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any required notice or consent requirements.
4. Automatic renewal
InkShare automatically renews for successive billing periods unless canceled before the renewal.
Cancellation information will be provided before or at enrollment and through the account or billing interface.
Drift & Quill will not make cancellation intentionally more difficult than enrollment.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel InkShare through the cancellation method made available by Drift & Quill.
Cancellation stops future renewal charges. Unless applicable law or the checkout terms require otherwise, you retain access to the benefits through the end of the already-paid billing period.
Deleting an account may not automatically create a refund for a current billing period.
6. Free trials and promotions
If Drift & Quill offers a free or discounted trial, promotional terms will state:
- the duration;
- the promotional price;
- the regular renewal price;
- when regular billing begins;
- whether the offer automatically renews; and
- how to cancel.
A promotional offer does not override mandatory consumer rights.
7. Subscription benefits may change
The catalog, eligible works, creator participation, bonus features, and other benefits may change.
We do not guarantee that any particular work will remain in InkShare for any particular period.
Where required by law, material reductions in promised benefits will be accompanied by required notice or remedies.
8. Creator subscription pool
InkShare revenue may be allocated among participating Creators according to the applicable subscription-pool rules.
Creator allocation is a separate accounting arrangement and does not make participating Creators sellers of the consumer's InkShare subscription.
9. Allocation and reconciliation
Subscription-pool calculations may include usage measurement, fraud review, refunds, chargebacks, taxes, payment-provider fees, reserves, corrections, and reconciliation.
A Creator allocation may be adjusted when an underlying transaction is reversed, refunded, charged back, determined fraudulent, or corrected.
10. Refunds
InkShare refunds are governed by applicable law, payment-network requirements, checkout disclosures, and Drift & Quill's refund procedures.
Because InkShare can provide immediate digital access, Drift & Quill may limit voluntary refunds after access has been provided to the extent permitted by law.
We may offer discretionary refunds in cases such as:
- duplicate charges;
- clear billing errors;
- unauthorized transactions;
- technical failure that materially prevents the purchased service from being delivered; or
- other circumstances Drift & Quill determines warrant a refund.
A discretionary refund does not establish a precedent or create a continuing entitlement.
Nothing in this policy waives a mandatory statutory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or other consumer right.
11. Chargebacks
If you believe an InkShare charge is unauthorized or incorrect, contact Drift & Quill promptly.
Drift & Quill may contest chargebacks where appropriate and may restrict accounts associated with fraudulent or abusive payment activity.
Nothing prevents a consumer from exercising rights available under applicable payment-network rules or law.
12. Subscription termination
Drift & Quill may suspend or terminate InkShare access for fraud, payment failure, abuse, violation of the Terms, legal requirements, or discontinuation of InkShare.
Where required by law, refunds for prepaid unused periods will be provided.
These pages are provided for Platform protection and user notice. They do not create obligations beyond those stated in the Terms of Service. If documents conflict, the Terms of Service control unless required otherwise by law.
